Banana Berry Protein Smoothie

Ina inspired feel good energy in a glass...


Ingredients

1/2 pint fresh berries(strawberries and/or raspberries) 2 ripe banana 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice or 1 peeled whole orange (if using a high speed blender) 1 cup almond milk 1 tablespoon good honey 1 cup ice

1 scoop Hemp seeds 2 scoops of protein powder

Combine the berries, banana, orange juice or peeled orange, almond milk, honey, ice and protein powder in a blender and process until smooth and serve.


Makes about 2 large serving sizes.


Note: My blender of choice is Vitamix. It chops and blends anything to a creamy consistency without much effort and painless cleanup which is a plus on busy morning. Recipe based on Ina Garten’s Berry Smoothie via Food Network.
