Pumpkin Spice French Toast laced with pumpkin, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and topped with decadent pumpkin butter whipped cream and spiced crunchy pecans. Perfect recipe for a slow fall Sunday morning cozied up with favorite blanket and a Halloween movie!
Ingredients:
Pumpkin brioche bread
Pumpkin butter
Unsalted butter
Whip cream
Spiced pecans
Eggs
Spiced pecans - whole and pieces
Pumpkin whipped cream
Maple Syrup
Spices:
Fresh grated ginger
Cinnamon
Cloves
Nutmeg
Heat large non stick on medium heat
Make Batter: In a flat surface container whisk: 1 1/2 cups cream 2 eggs 2 Tbsp pumpkin butter Ginger, and spices
To this batter, soak 2-3 slices of sliced brioche for about a minute per side
Melt 2 Tbsp butter in heated pan. Fry brioche on both sides Cover per side.
Spiced Whip Cream: Whip 1/2 cup cream with 1 tbsp of pumpkin butter
Plating: Transfer 3 toasts per plate Overlap Top with whipped cream Sprinkle with powder sugar Sprinkle with pecans Drizzle with maple syrup!
