Apple Crostata!
Can you just smell the scent of cinnamon, melty sugar, caramelized baked apples and a crisp buttery crust?
To me the warm homey smell reminds me of Loire Valley....while visiting the many fairytale Châteaux and Castles, we stopped by tiny bistros serving cider and apple tarts! Ina always somehow drifts me back to France.
Butter, Sugar, Apples....what’s not to like!
Before baking, I sprinkled some sliced almonds on the top for extra crunch. Served it warm with a scoop of Vanilla Bean ice cream!
